The organization will also call upon volunteers to assume management of households where women are sick.• Surgeon General Blue of the Public Health Service suggests that State Health officers close all schools and public gathering places where influenza is prevalent.• Public Health Service documents indicate that influenza is spreading and that the number of new cases is increasing. This is the case among civilian reports, but not among army camp reports.
