Work shift was one of the company’s strategies to maximaze company’s productivity and efficiency. Meanwhile, this strategy has potentially caused employees work stress. Accordingly, this descriptive-quantitative study aimed at investigating the difference of the work stress of the employees in production division of PT.UNISEM Batam based on their work shift. The study was conducted to 121 employee by using purposive sampling technique and the data were collected using work stress scale.
