Kamibashi Bridge, the Otani River

大谷川に架かる朱塗の神橋は日光社寺の入口にある｡ 明治35年の洪水で流失した神橋の石の橋桁には写真左の様な継目があった｡ 架け替え後の現在の神橋の橋桁には継目は無い｡The red-painted Shinkyo Bridge built over Daiya River is located at the entrance to the Nikko Shaji. The bridge lost in the flood of 1902 had joints in the bridge girder, as show in the left side of the photo. The restored bridge has no joints in the girders
