The present study aimed to present the panorama of national and international scientific publications on mobile learning in collaborative practice and the use of mobile devices with students from the 4th to the 9th grade of elementary school. Its relevance comes from analyzing how these technologies can be used to assist collaborative practices in and beyond the school. In addition, concepts of appropriation and pedagogical mediation are considered in the use of mobile devices to mediate the teaching and learning process, in order to know their effects in the educational context.
