The theses reveal the modern interpretation of the subject of physical culture as a whole system of knowledge and skills acquired in the learning process, which form an attractive image of the educational institution and its reputation. Two strategies for forming the image of an educational institution using the subject of physical culture are considered: when the image aspects of the institution’s reputation are among the key priorities and when the priority is comfort and joy from mastering new sports skills by students.
