By developing a theory about the existence of social reality, this article aims to address these issues by discussing:the relation between rules and norms,the difference between deontic normativity and the normativity of reason,the (im)possibility of prescriptive rules,two kinds of constitutive rules, andthe function of rules as constraints on possible worlds
