Inteligencia emocional en estudiantes universitarios a partir de la pandemia por covid-19: una revisión sistemática

Emotional intelligence (EI), key to the process of transition and adaptation that the university stage means, has been essential to continue with academic, professional and social activities in a context such as that of the covid-19 pandemic. In this way, despite the existence of various studies on EI in university students, it is necessary to establish the panorama of research that addresses this issue during the sanitary crisis. Therefore, in the present work we carried out a systematic review of the scientific research that addresses the emotional intelligence of university students from the covid-19 pandemic; thus, sources were collected from the following databases: PubMed, Scopus and Web of Science. Peer-reviewed articles in English or Spanish were included whose objective was aligned with the established topic, with a quantitative design and that addressed the population of university students. The variety of theoretical bases and instruments used by such investigations, the existence of a wide space of study due to the limited scope of what was found and the difference in results for the population from Hispanic-America are highlighted.La inteligencia emocional (IE), clave para el proceso de transición y adaptación que significa la etapa universitaria, ha sido fundamental para continuar con las actividades académicas, profesionales y sociales en un contexto como el de la pandemia por covid-19. De esa forma, a pesar de la existencia de diversos estudios sobre las IE en estudiantes universitarios, resulta necesario establecer cuál es el panorama de las investigaciones que abordan este tema en durante la crisis sanitaria. Por ello, en el presente trabajo se realiza una revisión sistemática de las investigaciones científicas que abordan la inteligencia emocional de los estudiantes universitarios a partir de la pandemia por covid-19; así, se recolectaron fuentes a partir de las siguientes bases de datos: PubMed, Scopus y Web of Science. Se incluyeron artículos revisados por pares en inglés o español cuyo objetivo se alinea al tema establecido, con diseño cuantitativo y que abordaran a la población de estudiantes universitarios. Se resalta la variedad de bases teóricas y de instrumentos utilizados por tales investigaciones, la existencia de un amplio espacio de estudio debido al alcance limitado de lo hallado y la diferencia de resultados para la población proveniente de Hispanoamérica
