Abstract The purpose of this study was to identify the factors that influence employee performance. These elements include training and development, recruitment and selection, job satisfaction, and motivation. Purposive sampling was used to collect data from 260 employees of four-star hotels in Batam, and the data was processed using Smart PLS 3.0 application. The findings revealed that those elements have an impact significantly positive towards employee performance. Motivation, as a mediating variable, also showed the same result towards employee performance.
