This thesis comprises five translations with commentary. Excerpts from three books were translated from English into Croatian (The Establishment: And how they get away with it by Owen Jones, Making Minds: What's wrong with education – and what should we do about it? by Paul Kelley and Reclaiming Conversation: The Power of Talk in a Digital Age by Sherry Turkle,) and two from Croatian into English (Ekološki otisak - kako je razvoj zgazio održivost by Dražen Šimleša and Iran u prezentu by Ivan Đogić.) The commentary focused on explication in translation in the sense of making an implicit feature of the source text explicit in the target text.
