The main activities carried out by the Institute in Jamaica during 2011 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening issues such as greenhouses, marketing, research, sustainability, beekeeping, rural development, agrotourism, agricultural development, production, policies public, postharvest, cooperation between the public and private sector, operational techniques, disease control, such as American foulbrood and the ruminant, cassava and herb value chains.Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Jamaica durante el 2011, con respecto a las necesidades e intereses del país, fortaleciendo en temas como invernaderos, mercadeo, investigación, sostenibilidad, apicultura, desarrollo rural, agroturismo, desarrollo agrícola, producción, políticas públicas, postcosecha, cooperación entre el sector público y privado, técnicas operativas, control de enfermedades, como lo que americana y las cadenas de valor de rumiantes, yuca y hierbas
