Seeking to understand teacher education, more specifically in chemistry, in the distance education modality, this text presents the steps in the construction of a State of the Art in educational research, aiming to produce a mapping of the productions that address the Education of Chemistry Teachers in this modality. For this, we used the repositories made available by Capes, Scielo, Google Scholar and BDTD that would offer us the necessary theoretical basis to build this tool and understand the path we are following.
