This work aimed to investigate the conceptions of chemistry teachers about ethnoscience, considering the teaching practice and its training contexts. This study was developed with the collaboration of Basic Education Chemistry teachers who work in public and private schools in the states of Alagoas, Sergipe, Piauí, Pará and Amapá. This research has a qualitative methodological approach, and the data was collected through a questionnaire provided to teachers by the Google Forms Platform, Google Forms. The information obtained through this study was inquired through the content analysis proposed by Bardin (1977).
