This research aims to analyze the impact of labor absorption in Java Region.The analysis method used is regression of panel data with cross section covering 6 provinces in Java Region, including DKI Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY), East Java, and Banten.While the time series data began in 2011-2018.Independent variables used to explain the impact of labor absorption in Java region are economic growth, foreign direct investment, provincial minimum wage, exports and education.The results showed that the provincial minimum wage and education had an effect on the absorption of labor in Java.While economic growth, foreign direct investment and exports have no effect on the absorption of labor in java
