PENGARUH INDEKS HARGA KONSUMEN, PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DAN PENYERAPAN TENAGA KERJA TERHADAP TINGKAT PENGANGGURAN INDONESIA TAHUN 2010-2020

Abstrak This study aims to to conduct an analysis of labor conditions and how to absorb labor in districts/cities throughout Central Java. The object of this research is focused on 35 regencies/cities throughout Central Java with data published by BPS Central Java. The data collection method used is the study of documentation derived from the publications of the Central Statistics Agency. The data analysis method used is quantitative analysis in the form of multiple linear regression analysis based on the fixed effect model or (LSDV) Least Squere Dummy Variable, and classical assumption testing. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant effect of labor productivity and real wages on labor absorption. Furthermore, economic growth also has a positive but not significant effect on employment in all districts/cities throughout Central Java. The results of further research indicate that the variables of labor productivity, real wages, and economic growth have a positive and significant effect on employment simultaneously or together. The suggestion of this research is to encourage local governments to increase the capacity of human resources that can increase productivity, economic growth, and employment.
