Smart Workplace Solutions (SWSs) are extending the concept of Smart Buildings (SBs). SBs have typically been technocentric, and the user perspective has been neglected. SWSs are software-based applications intended to help the user in their everyday life at the office. Previous literature has focused on what these applications should be called and what features they have. This thesis aimed to identify the most important SWS features from the employer's perspective. This thesis was further limited to facility managers, since they have in-depth knowledge about the usage of SWSs in their office.
