Dr. Donna Petersen is currently Interim Senior Vice President of USF Health and Dean of the College of Public Health. She is an expert in Maternal and Child Health (MCH), and earned a masters and doctoral degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health. She is involved nationally and locally in the areas of health planning and policy, needs assessment, and systems development and change. Her leadership extends to multiple boards, commissions and planning councils, she is widely published in public health, and she frequently lectures on issues of health care access and reform.
