Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepribadian terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kompetensi sebagai variable intervening dan pengaruh kepribadian terhadap kompetensi serta pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Hotel Mutiara Merdeka Pekanbaru. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 110 karyawan Hotel Mutiara Merdeka Pekanbaru. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kepribadian mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan positif terhadap kompetensi karyawan dan kompetensi karyawan membawa pengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kepribadian tidak membawa pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan tetapi kepribadian karyawan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja melalui kompetensi karyawan....
