Geography Program Review 2010/2011 Memorandum of Understanding

Includes two documents: 1) a cover letter from Associate Vice President for Undergraduate Studies, Cynthia Rawitch to President Jolene Koester and Stella Theodoulou, Dean of the College of Social and Behavioral Studies and; 2) a memorandum of understanding (MOU) from the Office of the Provost outlining commendations and recommendations for the department as expressed by the external reviewers, Steve LaDochy and Jenny Zorn.The CSUN Department of Geography housed in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, offers an undergraduate and a graduate degree, a minor, and certificate in Geography. The Department undertook a self-study (submitted AY 2008-2009) followed by an external review in Spring of 2010. The external reviewers were Dr. Steve LaDochy of California State University, Los Angeles and Dr. Jenny Zorn of California State University, San Bernardino.The Department???s MOU meeting occurred on December 13, 2010. Follow-up will occur at one and three years. Their next program review cycle will culminate in a new self-study, external review, and MOU in AY 2015-2016
