PENGARUH SAFETY CLIMATE TERHADAP SAFETY BEHAVIOR PADA KARYAWAN

Safety behavior is a very important thing at work and for all fields of work. Safety behavior used in an effort to prevent employees' fear of work accidents, so they can feel more comfortable in worrying work situations. One of the factors that influence safety behavior is the safety climate. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a safety climate on safety behavior of employees. This research is correlational quantitative research. The research subjects were 107 employees who had high-risk jobs who were recruited using purposive sampling technique. The data collection method used the Nordic Safety Climate Questionnaire (NOSACQ 50) scale and the safety behavior scale, both of which were distributed via google form. The analysis test used multiple regression which showed a significant positive effect between safety climate on work safety behavior in employees with an effect of 56,1%. This shows that the higher the perception of their work safety, the higher the behavior that cannot cause incidents or work accidents from employees
