ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERPENGARUH TERHADAP TINGKAT PROFITABILITAS PADA PERUSAHAAN ASURANSI JIWA DI INDONESIA TAHUN 2015-2017

This analysis aims to determine the factors that affect profitability in life insurance companies in Indonesia in 2015-2017. The factors that influence include, solvency ratio, investment adequacy ratio, investment return balance ratio with premium income, and expense ratio. The sample used in this study consists of 27 conventional life insurance companies registered in the Financial Services Authority (OJK) of 50 life insurance companies in Indonesia. The year used in this study for 3 years is from 2015-2017. The results of parsial test this study indicate that: (1) Solvability ratio to the level of profitability has a positive and insignificant effect; (2) The investment adequacy ratio to the level of profitability has a significant negative effect; (3) The ratio of investment returns to income to the level of profitability has a significant positive effect; (4) Load ratio to the level of profitability has a significant negative effect. While the simultaneous test all independent have a signification effect on the dependent variable
