Digital imageGavriel Bach was born in Germany in 1927, and educated in Berlin, Amsterdam, Jerusalem, and London. He moved to Israel and was appointed State Attorney of Israel in 1969. In that capacity, he assisted the general prosecutor in the Adolph Eichmann case. He served as Justice of the Supreme Court from 1982 to 1997.He was awarded the Jerusalem Prize in 1998. He is currently a judge of the Army Court of Appeal
