Seated and reading a book, Miss Louise Rapp had her portrait taken in the Bretzman Studio wearing a lace trimmed dress. The Bretzman customer card lists her at 3916 Washington Boulevard in Indianapolis. The city directory shows Helen L. Rapp at that address with her family and she was a student. Her father was Truman C. Rapp, president of Rapp's Cut Price Company, successors to Brown's Shoe Store. There were stores located on North Alabama and East and West Washington Streets. She appears in the 1920 census and was 20 years old. This image is a preservation copy made from an unstable original nitrate negative. The image is part of Series III
