International audienceThe ancient city of Cyrrhus-Nebi Huri occupies an ideal strategic position with a strong military characteristic and, on the field, its well preserved fortifications testify to this past. The urban boundaries that they materialize have been particularly studied by the Lebanese-Syrian mission, which was able to observe that, unlike the other parts of the city, the southern walls of the Roman, Byzantine and Medieval periods do not follow the same line as that of the Hellenistic period.
