This articles discusses the new tendencies and trends of organisations in their management of personnel. These new methods now tend to take people’s emotions into account, and therefore also the subjectivity of workers. The article firstly describes the economic and structural changes which are taking place and which have an effect on organisational models. It then goes on to describe the transition in the management of personnel from human resources towards personal development which includes a strong element of the management of emotions.
