The present text, with a qualitative approach, is part of a master's research in which the study object is the continuing education for Art teachers, qualified to teach theater and dance and working in schools of the Municipal School's Network of Campo Grande - MS. The methods used for the investigation were bibliographic research, document research and field research. The narrative interview conducted with five Art teachers resulted in the organization of the material collected in three major thematic areas, which are the versatility, physical space and work of the Art teacher qualified to teach theater and dance.
