STUDENT COURT CASE: The President presented a position statement and a procedure statement concerning the two students who may, according to the judgement of the court and pending th< be asking to return to the University REPORT ON UNIVERSITY FACULTY ORGANIZATION (enclosure 287); Dr. Nowaihi presented the revised report which was accepted by the Senate. 3 appeal, 1.4771 SIGNATURE CLEARANCE FOR BARCLAY'S BANK: Mr. Holtz presented the following resolution which was approved by the University Senate:- "The an account be continued in the name of The American University at Cairo at the Grace-Church Street Branch of Barclays Bank (Dominion, Colonial and Oversear), and that the said Bank be hereby authorized and requested to pay all Cheques, Bills of Exchange, Promisory Notes, and other negotiable instruments purporting to ifea be signed, ma&e or accepted on behalf of, and to debit same to the account to be dept with them by, the said Branch whether such account be in credit or otherwise, to hold The American University at Cairo liable on all endorsements of Cheques, Bills of Exchange, Promissory notes and other negotiable instruments, and all agreements and indemnities in connection with the issue of Letters of Credit, Drafts, Telegraphic Transfers, and with all Banking transactions, provided that the said Cheques, Bills, Promissory Notes, or Other documents are signed by Alwin Holtz, Comptroller. The said Branch will be advised by letter singed by the President of the University for the time being of all changes that may take place in the same from time to time; that a copy of this resolution be furnished to the said Branch of the said Bank; and that it remain in force until the receipt by the said Branch of the said Bank of a copy of a resolution rescinding the same.
