Alumni and Student Affairs Committee - Mr. Aldrich, Chairman, reported that the main concerns of the Committee are the imbalance between males · and females in the student body and the poor record of alumni giving. A number of ways to increase the number of male students have been considered by the Committee and are being studied by the administration. The Committee recommends increasing the staff of the alumni office to help in augmenting student place­ment efforts. This has implications for fund raising, as companies who employ AUC graduates are more apt to become donors. 6. Any Other Business - The dates of the next Board meeting (in Cairo) were tentatively set as follows: Tuesday, February 26, consideration of long­range study; Wednesday, February 27, Board Committee meetings; Thursday, February 28, Board of Trustees meeting.
