It was suggested that a luncheon be arranged in Washington in an effort to secure support of prominent Congressmen who would be alert to our needs, sympathetic to them and able and willing to support our applications for grants from the government. Senators Fulbright, Symington, Cooper, and Congresswoman Marguerite Church, a friend of Mrs. Lloyd, were suggested.
