Group Play Therapy untuk Meningkatkan Empati pada Anak dengan Kecenderungan Perilaku Agresi

Aggression behavior has a negative impact on children in carrying out their daily activities in school and their social environment. Group P lay Therapy interventions can be used to improve empathy skills in children so as to reduce the level of aggressiveness. This study aims to look at the effect of group play therapy in reducing aggressive behavior by increasing empathy. This research is an experimental research using pretest posttest control group design. The subjects of this study were twenty elementary students who had moderate and high levels of aggression. Measurements were made using the LA Aggression Scale for Elementary School and Upper Secondary School Students aggression scale and the Empathy Questionnaire for Children and Adolescents (EmQue -CA) empathy scale which was then analyzed using non-parametric analysis (Wilcoxon test, Mann Whitney and Kendall's Tau) with the help of SPSS. The results showed that Group Play Therapy can increase the ability of empathy in children so that it can reduce the level of aggressiveness
