International audienceSome ancient Greek authors developed oxymoronic images of suckling old men and senescent infants, assigning positive and /or negative values to them. These images appear in texts dealing with the End of a World (scourge) or the End of the World at periods when the cosmos speeds up and unheard-of havoc is wrought.
