A better quality water for MWD and the Imperial Valley area than obtainable from the Colorado River alone. 5. Some flood control on the Eel River and Trinity River Systems. 6. Some additional opportunities for reservoir recreation on the Eel River and Trinity River systems. 7. The costs of the State's California Aqueduct and of the Eastside Division of the Federal Central Valley Project allocated to California interests might be decreased somewhat because of joint use with the PSWP.
