This area is now being served in part by the Central Valley Project. This proposed unit also would provide operational flexibility for the Central Valley Project through integration with operations of Tracy Pumping Plant and the proposed Delta Peripheral Canal. The estimated capital cost of this proposed unit is $55,000,000 with an annual OM&R cost of $285,000.
