Associated with this development would be the East Side Division, which would provide 1,500,000 acre-feet of service to that area with its resulting multiple-purpose benefits. The estimated capital cost of the proposed facilities, exclusive of distribution systems required for East Side Division, is about $600,000,000. This East Side Division is proposed for authorization, construction, and operation as an integral part of the Central Valley Project.
