To meet the growing power requirements, and to provide revenues for financial assistance to water development, the power potential of the Colorado River would be developed through the Bridge Canyon Dam and Powerplant and the Marble Canyon Dam and Powerplant to provide valuable hydroelectric capacity to meet the commercial peaking powerloads and project pumping loads. This proposed power production would be integrated with the outputs of the existing Hoover and Parker-Davis systems and the Colorado River storage system now under construction.
