Add to ORKGThe aim of this article is to present the edition of an unpublished manuscript by Josep Matas Perpiñá (1899-1972) containing a Catalan translation of Mihai Eminescu's poem (1850-1889) Ce-ţi doresc eu ţie, dulce Românie ['What I wish you, sweet Romanian land'] (1867). Even though two verses are missing (the last two of the fourth stanza), this version must be considered a pioneering landmark in the process of introducing the greatest Romanian poet into Catalan culture.
