Tackling long-term unemployment in the Slovak Republic

I chose the topic of my thesis based on successfully piloted project to tackle long-term unemployment in Banska Bystrica, my hometown. The work is divided into two load-bearing parts - theoretical and practical. Theoretical part is focused on general definitions that relate to the issue of unemployment, types of unemployment and labor market and its link to employment policy. In theoretical part I have already mentioned a tool for placing long-term unemployed into the labor market on a theoretical level. In the practical part I have summarized information on project "From benefits to paid work", what was pilot project, tested for intermediate labor market as a potential tool for solving long-term unemployment in Banská Bystrica, Slovak Republic.
