The master thesis deals with the topic of job satisfaction. The primary objective of the thesis is to analyze the level of job satisfaction of the employees of the selected organization, the municipality of the City of Prague. To this end, a theoretical basis is elaborated, which includes the definition of the basic concept of job satisfaction and related concepts - motivation and work performance, and the specifics of work in the public sector. This is followed by a methodological part, which sets out partial objectives, research questions and selected methods for research.
