Analysis of job satisfaction

The master thesis deals with the topic of job satisfaction. The primary objective of the thesis is to analyze the level of job satisfaction of the employees of the selected organization, the municipality of the City of Prague. To this end, a theoretical basis is elaborated, which includes the definition of the basic concept of job satisfaction and related concepts - motivation and work performance, and the specifics of work in the public sector. This is followed by a methodological part, which sets out partial objectives, research questions and selected methods for research. The last part is the practical part, which represents the environment of the organization in which the research was carried out. Subsequently, questionnaire outputs and individual in-depth interviews were conducted with the head of the department and the staff member. According to the findings, suggestions and recommendations are proposed to improve job satisfaction.Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem pracovní spokojenosti. Primárním cílem práce je prostřednictvím použití analýzy zjistit úroveň pracovní spokojenosti zaměstnanců vybrané organizace, oddělení Magistrátu hlavního města Prahy. Za tímto účelem je vypracován teoretický základ, který obsahuje vymezení základního pojmu pracovní spokojenosti a také souvisejících pojmů – motivace a pracovního výkonu, dále jsou popsána specifika práce ve veřejném sektoru. Následuje metodologická část, ve které jsou stanoveny dílčí cíle, výzkumné otázky a vybrané metody, kterými bude proveden výzkum. Poslední částí je praktická část, která představuje prostředí organizace, ve kterém se uskutečnil výzkum. Poté došlo ke zpracování výstupů dotazníků a individuálních hloubkových rozhovorů s vedoucím sledovaného oddělení a personální pracovnicí. Podle zjištěných faktů jsou předloženy návrhy a doporučení vedoucí ke zlepšení stavu pracovní spokojenosti
