Evaluation of employee motivation and satisfaction

Master thesis deals with the evaluation of employee motivation and satisfaction in a selected company. Its main objective is to analyse the current situation of job satisfaction and work motivation of employees in a particular company and to propose recommendations or changes in order to improve or eliminate the identified shortcomings. The theoretical part introduces the definition of basic concepts of motivation, work motivation and job satisfaction. The practical part focuses on the introduction of the company in which the research was conducted, concentrates also on explanation of the research methods and introduces the analysis of the research. Furthermore, the practical part summarizes the results of the research and presents the proposals and recommendations for improving the current situation of motivation and satisfaction of employees. The conclusion of the thesis provides SWOT analysis of the possible use of these proposals for improvement.Diplomová práce se zabývá hodnocením motivace a spokojenosti zaměstnanců vybrané společnosti. Jejím hlavním cílem je analyzovat současný stav pracovní spokojenosti a motivace pracovníků v konkrétní společnosti a následně navrhnout doporučení či změny za účelem zlepšení či odstranění zjištěných nedostatků. Teoretická část práce se zabývá vymezením základních pojmů a problematiky motivace, pracovní motivace a pracovní spokojenosti. Praktická část se zaměřuje na charakteristiku hodnocené společnosti a vysvětlení metod výzkumu, důležitou součástí je vyhodnocení výzkumu motivace a spokojenosti. V praktické části jsou shrnuty výsledky výzkumu a předloženy návrhy na zlepšení současné situace motivace a spokojenosti zaměstnanců.
