Strategic analysis

This thesis deals with the strategic analysis of the company XY. For the thorough evaluation of the company, PESTLE analysis and Porter‘s five forces analysis are used, furthermore, VRIO and value chain analyses help to analyse resources and abilities of the company. In the end, results are assessed by SWOT analysis resulting in strategic solution for the management. Based on the gained information about the company from analyses, the main goal is to find out possibilities for future development of the laboratory and to recommend the most suitable strategy.Diplomová práce se zabývá strategickou analýzou podniku XY. Ke zhodnocení současné situace podniku je využito PESTLE analýzy a Porterova modelu pěti sil, dále jsou analyzovány zdroje podniku pomocí VRIO analýzy a jeho schopnosti pomocí hodnototvorného řetězce, následuje analýza portfolia a závěrem jsou zjištěné výstupy zhodnoceny ve SWOT analýze, ve které jsou formulována strategická doporučení pro inspiraci vedení podniku. Cílem práce je na základě provedené analýzy zjistit možnosti rozvoje laboratoře a formulovat pro ni strategická doporučení
