The purpose of this research is to know: (1) Compensation and job satisfaction, (2) The effect of financial compensation on employee satisfaction, (3) The effect of non-financial compensation on employee work satisfaction. This research is a descriptive study. The object in this study was PT. Kereta Api DAOP 8 Surabaya, with the employee of the line assessment as a respondent. The research respondent is the employee of the road assessment with a population of 95 people. Sampling techniques in this study are random sampling clusters. Samples amounted to 30 people taken from several UPT resort roads and bridges. Data is collected using a questionnaire whose validity and reliability has been tested.
