The material in this folder focuses on the career of Ruthe McClendon Whickum (1930-1992). Her legal career began with her graduation from the Law School at the University of Toledo in 1972, where she had attended night classes while working with the Toledo Public Schools (TPS) Board of Education. She continued working with the TPS Board of Education while doing legal research and drafting briefs and legal documents after passing the bar in 1972.
