Clara M. Millard Scrapbook

These items are images from digital and paper sources that were gathered for the Toledo Women Lawyers History Project (TWLHP). The material in this folder focuses on the career of Clara M. Millard (1872-1952), reportedly the only woman graduate of St. John's University in Toledo; she was the first woman to be admitted to the bar from northwest Ohio. Clara worked for 42 years as the deputy clerk of Probate Court, retiring in 1933. Images in this folder include a portrait with accompanying text, memorial from the TBA, and an obituary published in The Blade
