The material in this folder focuses on the career of Mary Kerr Hamilton (1926-1995), who was the first woman to be elected president of the Toledo Bar Association in 1977. She initially worked for a local law firm after passing her bar exam in 1960, and joined the former Toledo Trust Company after 1969, where she rose to the position of vice-president. She also attained that position at the former First National Bank of Toledo, now the Fifth-Third Bank, retiring in 1991.
