Jan Čulík interviews the Georgian electronics engineer Lina Gvenetadze, who has lived in Czechoslovakia/Czech Republic since the 1960s with her husband Emil Vaculík, brother of the well-known Czech writer Ludvík Vaculík (1926-2015). What was it like to live in the liberal Czechoslovakia in the 1960s in the company of writers? How did the 1968 Warsaw Pact invasion affected Lina Gvenetadze? How did she cope with the fact that the post-invasion regime refused to accept her post-doctoral dissertation because Ms Gvenetadze was related to a dissident writer? The interview was broadcast by the Czech cable TV station Regionalnitelevize.cz from 18th October 2019
