The first of three interviews in which French historian Muriel Blaive - in Czech - explores the experiences, attitudes and opinions of Jan Čulík, a journalist and university lecturer who has lived and worked between Britain and the Czech Republic for more than forty years. It is part of her exploration of the communist and post-communist era in the Czech Republic and the position of the Czech Republic in today's world.
