Plum Creek wants to build about 1,000 housing units and two resort hotels along the edge of Moosehead Lake. Environmentalists like the Natural Resources Council of Maine and Sierra Club are bombarding the Land Use Regulation Commission (LURC) with complaints about the environmental impacts of the development.
