Along the Waterfront piece on Bar Harbor cruise operator, Steve Pagels, who hopes to sail north from Florida this month on the Mary Todd, a four-masted schooner he designed with naval architects Woodin & Maraen of Wiscasset and that was built of steel in St. Augustine. Pagels says he became interested in building a rare four-masted rig after gaining experience on the three-masted schooner Natalie Todd.
