Ninety-five participants from two graduate counsellor training programs were assessed onanxiety level, self-talk, and counselling skill. High anxiety reflected high negative self-talk, low positive self-talk, and poor video-tape performance.Quatre-vingt-quinze participants inscrits à deux programmes de formation de counseling de 2e et 3e cycles ont été soumis à une évaluation de leur niveau d'anxiété, de leur dialogue intérieur et de leur compétence en counseling. Un niveau élevé d'anxiété correspondait à un niveau élevé de dialogue intérieur négatif, à un niveau faible de dialogue intérieur positif et à une mauvaise performance sur vidéo
