People packed the building and every available seat as taken. The choir, under the leadership of Bro. Crson Bridge with Mrs. D. H. Keeler at the organ, rendered the follow­ing numbers: . The Lions sponsor worthy causes; there are thousands of clubs organized; and the raising of funds here in Magrath was dieous«- :.ed. It was finally decided to put on a carnival with pres. -Balderson as ohairman and N. E. Blaxall and Orson Bridge as com­mittee. Th© carnival is to' b© held in about a month, providing the right dates can be had for the -Assembly Hall. The project was undecided. Dr, Schreiber was still pleading for a hospital, as hundreds of needy cases are going to Lethbridge and could be taken care of here in town at less cost, Then the swimming pool was discussed. Roy Sheridan talked in behalf of sponsoring & hockey club and C. S. Matkin in behalf of scouting, so it was undecided, but whatever the project will‘be it; will be a worthy one and will be entitled tp everyone’s interest, if they raise $2000 they will build a skating rink or a hospital. Snow and Reeve N. W. Peterson. Mr, Peterson did the talk­ing and the other councillors just looked on and said "Amen” to what he had to say. The taxes.Verb.to be raised in the south, lowered around Veiling and north. It rain­ed last year in the south more than.in the _______________ ___________________________ On LfcVember 4 — continued. the poor man who is pursueded to buy life insurance, tractors, automobiles and many __ other things that he cannot affordf- he was nowr mentioned. Steele, H. 0, Austin, Hugh Griffiths, Henry Shaffer and Fred Palmer. They, released the body for burial but the inquest was adjourned until November 21» He leaves to mourn his wife and five children.
