Introduction: Burnout syndrome is considered as a result to chronic labor stress. Some variables of sociodemographic and/or work type can take part and influence in the appearance of such syndrome. The objective was to analyze the relationship between sociodemographic and labor factors with the Burnout Syndrome in medical specialists at the Hospital Valentin Gomez Farias, Mexico. Methodology: The study was descriptive and cross-sectional. The questionnaire of sociodemographic and occupational data and the scale of Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI-HS) were used.
